⏲️ Speech Timings & Age Divisions
Speaking times will depend on the age division you compete in.
- Group A
Grades: 10+
Max Speech Time: 8:00
- Group B
Grades: 8-9
Max Speech Time: 6:00
- Group C
Grades: 6-7
Max Speech Time: 4:00
- Group D
Grades: 4-5
Max Speech Time: 4:00
Protective Time
Points of Information cannot be offered in the first and final minute of a speech.
Extra Time
Speakers may have an extra 20 seconds to complete their sentences.
Mixing Grades
You may mix grades in a team and students are allowed to 'play up' in an older division.
